Marley

Marley

Marley is a 6 year old Apricot Standard Poodle that loves children and adults.

Marley is extra special because he was adopted at 6 months old from a family that could not take care of him. He absolutely loves honey wheat pretzels and has been trained to gently take them right out of his owner’s mouth!  Marley is one of the Cover Dogs on the PAWS for People Calendar for 2011!

Marley has been a therapy dog for a little over a year! He loves to volunteer at Bainbridge Elementary, Perryville Library, The Terry Center, and soon he is starting at the Cecil College Library!

Marley’s favorite books are Marley LOVES School by John Grogan and Cool Dog, School Dog by Deborah Heiligman!  Marley hopes that one day his mom will try and write a book about him and all of the friends he has made being a therapy dog!

      You are cute too! My Mom says you are a great helper and that you play soccer! I love to watch first graders play sports. I went to a baseball game and watched some of the boys in your class play!

      I love you and miss you very much. When are you coming to visit me and my brothers? By the way…want to take Oskar back to New Jersey with you for a few days?  He destroyed his dog bed in his crate today and Mommy was not happy.

    We love your picture, Marley!! You are a great listener with all of the children. We really love working with you at the Perryville Library!! Our first night was a success and we are looking forward to the rest of the year and the many little readers we will see!!
