Hi! I’m Coco Bella. I grew up in a family with lots of children, but when I was three, something happened and they couldn’t keep me. We were so sad, but I went to Delaware Humane Assoc. and they were so nice to me. They told me they would help me find the perfect forever home, and they did! A nice lady came in looking for a sweet, gentle dog for a therapy dog and I knew I’d found my calling. That was six years ago and we’re so happy! We went to obedience school, then PAWS training and started visiting people with Alzheimer’s disease. That was nice but I really missed being with children, so we joined the reading program! I love giving kisses, getting attention, sunshine, playing with my tuggie toy, riding in the car, making new friends, seeing old friends and most of all listening to children read to me at Bear Library.
