Join us for this month-long journey that begins this September! Help PAWS for People bring tail-wagging joy to those who need it most! It’s easy… all you have to do is walk (or run) with your pet. This is a great way to spend time with your four-legged friend while raising funds to help PAWS for People change lives.

Month-Long, Cumulative Marathon
The PAWS-a-thon is a month-long cumulative marathon over the month of September.

Log 26.2 miles between September 1 – 28
– The best thing about this event is that you can do it on your own time, at your own pace.
– Mileage is on the honor system – no cheating – your pet is watching!

Walk or run with your pet… or trot, swoop, or hop!
– If you don’t have a pet, grab a friend’s, walk in honor/memory of a pet – be as creative as you like! Where else can you do a marathon with a bunny?!

Share your progress on social media
– Be sure to include selfies
– What is the most interesting place to get in your miles?
– Who’s walking with you?

Cross the finish line at the PAWS Party
– Come celebrate on September 29th, 12-2 PM at the PAWS Party sponsored by the American Legion Post 17 and WSFS Bank
– Contests, awards, and activities for all who participate
– Friends and family can come celebrate as well!

Can’t attend the PAWS Party? You can still participate in the PAWS-a-thon from anywhere and help PAWS for People in its mission to provide therapeutic visits to any person in the community who would benefit from interaction with a well-trained, loving pet.

Every pet who completes the PAWS-a-thon (26.2 miles) will receive a special finisher tag

Registration

You may register yourself or multiple people. You can register as an individual or create a team!

All registrants will receive a special PAWS bandana, a ticket to the PAWS Party, and 5 free raffle tickets.

Adults (13 & over): $25.00
Children (12 & under): $10.00

Family and friends who are not registered are welcome to attend the PAWS Party.
Non-participant entrance: $5.00/per person, includes 5 raffle tickets
