Hi! My name is Petey. I’m sometimes called Pete. I’m a terrier/hound mix. I was born about three years ago in Puerto Rico and lived on the streets until some nice people rescued me when I was just seven months old. I was in the SPCA shelter in Monmouth County New Jersey for only a week when my human Mom and Dad adopted me. I now live in Pennsylvania with a Jack Russell Terrier and two cats. I have a big yard and like to run and play. Although I’m a little shy I like pets and hugs from people, especially children. I like to visit the nice people at the Ruston Assisted Living. I also like to read. My favorite book is about farm animals, cats and dogs.
