Throughout this 5-week course\, handlers will have the opportunity to review and practice the basic skills necessary for their dogs to become therapy pets. We do lots of fun exercises to help you and your pup get ready for real pet therapy work. In addition\, handlers can work toward passing PAWS’ Standards of Excellence Test (STEX)\, which is required for all PAWS Therapy teams\, and/or the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test.
