Target Brush-Up Classes
If you have reviewed the PAWS for People Standards of Excellence (STEX) Handbook and
are concerned that you and your pet need to work on a few behaviors in order to pass the test,

please consider our Target Brush-up class.
A trainer will work with you one-on-one focusing on the one or two behaviors
that are keeping you from being sure to pass.

1-1½ hour class offered on the 1st Wednesday of each month - $25 per person
There are 3 times this type of class would be appropriate:
- Before coming to orientation, if you are worried that your dog isn’t good therapy dog material

After orientation, if you need help with just a couple of the commands required on our STEX test

After the STEX test, if you and your pet didn’t pass and you need some help polishing a particular behavior

Please note – if you have having trouble with 3 or more behaviors, you probably need to sign-up for a
dog training class with one of the dog training schools in the area.
