PAWS for People is excited to host our fifth year of Doodles in Dewey! This event began in 2005 (The same year as PAWS for People) and it has steadily grown each year. The 2025 event had over 800 people and 500 doodles registered and raised over $35,000. The gathering of doodles of all kinds and their families was joyful sight and we can’t wait so see everyone again and welcome new friends in 2026!
The Event is Rain or Shine – Just in case we get some sprinkles, we have updated the list of dog friendly restaurants with information about which restaurants have covered porches/patios.

Friday Night – April 24th
Doodle Costume Parade on the Rehoboth Board Walk
Registration Opens at 4:30 PM in front of the Rehoboth Bandstand
We will gather at the end of Rehoboth Avenue and begin the parade at 5:30 PM
The registration table will remain open until 6:30 PM for anyone who would like to check-in for the weekend

2026 Doodles T-Shirt & Sweatshirts Now Available
Order Deadline – Friday, March 13
Shirts and sweatshirts will be available for pick up at the Friday night Doodle Parade in Rehoboth Beach or the Saturday Doodle Romp on Dewey Beach. Shirts can be shipped after the event for an additional fee.
This year’s event t-shirt will be available for pre-order (Deadline March 13th) at a discounted price of $30 and a very limited number will be available to purchase on the day of the event for $35. The shirts are long sleeve sport gray colored 100% cotton shirts available in sizes S-3X. The t-shirt front is pictured here, the back will have the smaller Doodle logo and event sponsor logos.
The event sweatshirt is Navy , 65/35 cotton/polyester blend fleece available in sizes S-3X. Sweatshirts are available for preorder (Deadline March 13th) at a discounted price of $45 and a very limited number will be available to purchase on the day of the event for $50. The sweatshirt front is pictured here and will include the “Doodles in Dewey” and a plain back.
