Private Sessions
Private lessons are tailored for the busy pet owner with a limited time schedule or for those who would benefit from one-on-one, customized lessons. We will customize your session based on the temperament of your dog and your goals. We can focus on anything from beginning obedience to off leash distractions and advanced skill work. Some dogs (and their humans) just need some refinement with their basic skill set, while others are starting from scratch!

Tricks of the Trade
Come learn valuable “tricks” that you and your therapy companion can use while visiting! These are all simple to learn and can add variety to you own repertoire of fun behaviors that can entertain and distract.
Basic to Advanced
Small group session for current PAWS Therapy Teams who have completed their STEX certification at the Basic or Intermediate levels and want to progress to Advanced.
Clicker Training for Better Visits
This one-session course uses clicker/marker training to teach three specific tricks that can be used to enhance therapy sessions by increasing your dog’s engagement with those you visit.
Please note:
- Aggressive Behaviors: In order to ensure that our facility is a safe environment for dogs and their handlers, we do not accept aggressive dogs. We recommend you seek the advice of a behaviorist if your dog is has aggressive behaviors directed toward other dogs or people.
- Excessive Barking & Other Extreme Behaviors: Although we understand that some dogs can become overstimulated and need time to acclimate in a classroom environment, dogs who continue to demonstrate excessive barking, lunging, and/or other extreme behaviors disruptive to teaching/the learning of others will be asked to leave. Private training and/or seeking the advice of a certified behaviorist will be recommended.
- Fees: All fees are based on one person and one dog. If you would like to bring an additional family member or friend to training, there will be an additional charge:
