National Dog Show

In conjunction with its partnership with the National Dog Show and the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, PAWS for People is promoting the annual canine extravaganza at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, set for the weekend of November 19-20.  After two years, of pandemic-related constraints, the show expects to be back in full swing

The National Dog Show is one of the most prominent in the world because of its history dating back to the 1800s, its location in America’s fifth-largest market, and the national television exposure Thanksgiving Day on NBC. The popular show started in 1879 and has been staged continuously by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia (KCP) since 1933.  The Saturday, November 19 show is taped for air on Thanksgiving Day from noon-2 p.m. on NBC in all time zones following the Macy’s Parade.

The Kennel Club of Philadelphia is a non-profit with the mission of educating the public about responsible pet parenting and the wonderfulness of the dogs that enrich our lives.
